Ed began his career in 1987 as an analyst in the Real Estate division at First Boston. His involvement in the mortgage banking industry began in 1991, when he joined Lancaster Financial Ltd. At Lancaster, Ed quickly became the company’s top loan originator and was subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of the New Home/Builder Division for the company. In 1999, Ed founded Atlantic Home Loans and continues to be the company’s CEO. Ed has a B.A. in economics from Middlebury College.
Jerry Facciani, Chairman
Jerry began his career as a commercial loan officer. In 1971, he joined Ramapo Bank as a VP and rose to President in 1981. During his tenure, Ramapo was consistently ranked as one of New Jersey’s top 5 banks. In 1984, Jerry founded Lancaster Financial Ltd., a New Jersey based mortgage bank that was purchased by Summit Bank in 1994. He then became the SVP in charge of retail production for the East Coast. Jerry has a B.A. in economics from Lafayette College.
Dan Spiegel, CFO
Dan has been a mortgage banker since 1986, beginning his career with Margaretten & Company (now Chase Manhattan Mortgage.) In 1991, Dan joined Lancaster Financial Ltd., a New Jersey independent mortgage banker, where he rose to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Dan continued as SVP and Head of Secondary Marketing after Lancaster Financial LTD was acquired by Summit Bank in New Jersey. In 2001, Summit Bank, New Jersey’s largest bank at the time, was acquired by Fleet National Bank, where Dan ran the Pricing, Post Closing, and Loan Delivery Departments. Dan has been with Atlantic Home Loans since 2004.
Kathy Shilling, EVP Operations
Before joining Atlantic Home Loans, Kathy was a Sr Underwriter and Operations Manager for the National City Mortgage Branch in Trumbull CT for almost 10 yrs. Prior to that she was the Sr Underwriter and operations manager for Advanced Financial Services in Shelton CT. Kathy is an expert in the field with full FHA Designated Underwriting authority, and Veterans Administration LAPP. She is experienced in underwriting CT Bond loans, VA loans, FHA, 203k loans, conforming loans and non-agency loans. “…We are not perfect, but we are in the business of making loans and we have a team that is dedicated to doing that.
